FAQ

How do I make a reservation?

Anyone can make reservations online, via fax, e-mail, or by telephone. For all reservations, a major credit card is required at time of booking.

Do you require any deposit?

We only require deposits for wedding and prom reservations. For weddings we typically require a $200 deposit and a $100 deposit for prom reservations. These deposits are non-refundable.

What areas do you cover?

We are licensed in both Ontario and Quebec and service the Ottawa-Gatineau region and surrounding areas.

What is the condition of your vehicles?

All of our vehicles are in immaculate condition. They are all the newest body style and we typically buy brand new vehicles and use them for 2-4 year before replacing them. We have in house mechanics and detailer to ensure the safety and quality of all of our vehicles.

How do I set up a corporate account?

Applications or inquiries for corporate accounts should be sent to info@capitallimousines.ca. We can also be contacted directly at 613-737-5466.

What is your cancellation policy?

All non-corporate reservations must be cancelled with 7 days advance notice prior to your scheduled trip date to assume no financial liability. After this period, if a reservation is cancelled the client is responsible for 50% payment of the originally scheduled charter. Any cancellations within 48 hours will be billed for full charter amount. For weddings and proms the charter must be cancelled prior to 30 days of service to avoid the full amount being charged.

Corporate account holders may cancel sedans and non-stretch SUV's up to 48 hours in advance, and stretch limousines, SUV's, and Buses must be cancelled 7 days in advance.

What are other terms and conditions?

A major credit card is required at the time of booking to hold your reservation. The credit card on file will only be authorized 48 hours prior to your scheduled trip. All charges are billed to the credit card on file only on the day of the charter. Corporate account custom billing can be established through your Corporate Account Manager. Capital Limousine Services also reserves the right to substitute one vehicle for another providing it is the same or equal size/fare value. The client is responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle by any of the guests in the party.

Can I smoke in any of your cars or limousines?

All of our vehicles are smoke-free vehicles. If you would like to have a smoke, we would gladly stop at your convenience so you may do so.

What do I do if I can't find my car/chauffeur?

Whether you are at the Ottawa airport or we are serving you in our nationwide affiliate capacity, please call (866) 717-3777 if you are unable to locate your chauffeur. We will immediately remedy the missed connection and get you on your way quickly.

Why is my billing amount different than my quote?

Your price quote is an estimation based on the times supplied to us. Capital Limousine Services bills you for actual time usage based in 30 minute increments after you've reached any minimum usage requirements. If you use under the estimated time, your bill will be less. If you use over the estimated time, your bill will be more. Another factor that can change the billing amount is any contractually obligated charges described in the contract or extra amenities you've requested we provide.

Can I see the vehicle before making a reservation?

No matter which limousine service you choose, Capital Limousines always recommends that you schedule a meet and greet to inspect your vehicle, and meet the company staff. This will help you make an educated decision, and that the vehicle and company you have chosen exceeds your standards upon arrival. Not all limousine companies have the same level of service or quality of vehicles that we provide to you.

Do your drivers have a special license or training?

All Capital Limousine chauffeurs are over the age of 25, have a clean Motor Vehicle Record, and have completed our extensive chauffeur training program and continuing education. As well they are always in full suit. We feel our chauffeurs are the most important part of our business, because they are servicing you, the client.

Do you provide concierge services?

Yes, concierge services are available depending on the type of transportation and activity required. Additional charges may apply for specific purchased items at the client's request.

What is your privacy policy?

Capital Limousine Services does not release any information to any outside organization. It is our policy to protect your privacy and identity at all times.

What are your hours of operation?

We provide service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including Holidays.

Will my chauffeur meet me at baggage claim?

We will gladly arrange a meet and greet at baggage claim for your Airport pickup.

Here are some of the risks of renting a limousine based on price alone:

Your limousine is late or does not arrive at all. A dirty old limousine in poor condition arrives at your door. You end up with an unprofessional and unfriendly chauffeur. Improperly insured company and vehicles to cover your injuries in the event of an accident. Your limousine does not receive proper maintenance and breaks down during your special occasion. Your limousine is not certified and inspected as per city of Ottawa requirements.

   Gold Wedding Package

Our Gold wedding package is ideal for any wedding and consists of 4 hours of consecutive service. Our chauffeur will arrive at the residence to pick up the bride and bridesmaids and proceed to the church. Upon completion of the marriage ceremony, the red carpet will be rolled out and a chilled bottle of champagne will be waiting for you.

Our limousine will then escort the newly weds along with the wedding party to the photo session where bottled water will be provided. The procession will then continue from the photo session to the reception.

   Platinum Wedding Package

The Platinum wedding package consists of the unlimited use of our impeccable limousine and professional chauffeur from the morning to the honeymoon drop off and the end of the evening and is perfect for taking advantage of this very special day.

It runs for 10 hours during the day plus a late night pickup. First our chauffeur will pick up the bride and bridesmaids in the morning to go to their hair and makeup appointments. A catered pastry and fruit platter along with a variety of juices and bottled water will be provided. After the hairdressers and make-up we will proceed to the residence for final preparations.

Once the bride and bridesmaids are ready and the time has come we will proceed to the church. Upon completion of the marriage ceremony, the red carpet will be rolled out and a chilled bottle of champagne will be waiting for you. Our limousine will then escort the newly weds along with the wedding party to the photo session where bottled water will be provided. The procession will then continue from the photo session to the reception.

Finally after the reception is over at the end of the night, our chauffeur will arrive for the late night pickup where we will bring the newly weds to their house or hotel.
